Founded by Matty Shimura and Civitai - the Home Of Open-Source Generative AI - Project Odyssey began as an initiative to foster opportunities for both AI technologists and traditional filmmakers to get hands on, providing free education and resources regardless of background or experience.

Season 1 and Season 2 of the competition evolved into a global movement to push forward the creators, communities, and companies across the AI Filmmaking Industry.

This year, Project Odyssey will be partnering with the Chroma Awards, offering over $175,000 in cash prizes and distribution opportunities across 26 categories spanning Film, Music Videos, and Games.
